These Terms of Service govern your use of Floo. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Plain English summary: Use Floo for your legitimate business. Pay your subscription on time. Do not try to abuse or reverse-engineer the service. We work hard to keep it running but cannot guarantee it will catch every fraud — use it as one layer of your security, not your only layer.
Floo provides real-time transaction monitoring and fraud detection for businesses. The service monitors bank alert emails, scores transactions against configurable rules, and sends alerts when suspicious activity is detected.
Floo is a monitoring and alerting tool. It does not have the ability to block, reverse, or stop transactions. It is designed to notify you so that you can take action with your bank. The speed and outcome of any action you take is between you and your bank.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password. Do not share your login credentials with anyone outside your organisation. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Floo is a subscription service billed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days' notice.
Payments are processed by Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise Paystack to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. We do not store your payment details.
If a payment fails, we will retry for up to 7 days. If payment cannot be collected after 7 days, your account will be suspended until payment is made. You will not lose your historical data during suspension.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues until the end of the billing period.

Your use of Floo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms. By using Floo, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.
You retain ownership of all your business data. By using Floo you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
We aim to maintain 99.5% uptime. We will provide at least 24 hours' notice of planned maintenance where possible. We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party services (Gmail, Twilio, Paystack) or events outside our reasonable control.
Important limitation: Floo is a fraud detection aid, not a guarantee. Our rules engine and AI analysis are designed to flag suspicious activity, but no automated system catches everything. You should use Floo as one part of a broader approach to financial security, not as your sole safeguard.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floo's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from fraud, theft, or unauthorised transactions, whether or not Floo detected or failed to detect the relevant activity.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing hello@tryfloo.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We may terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the service. We will give 30 days' notice of service discontinuation and allow you to export your data.
On cancellation or termination, your data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Floo after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
